(b) In a growth medium made with a washed DFO‐treated agar, Fe supplementation restores the expression of pALMT1::GUS.
Seedlings were grown for 4 days on a pH 5.5 medium not supplemented with phosphate, and supplemented, or not, with the indicated concentrations of DFO and Fe, before GUS staining. Bar = 1 mm.
