Topoisomerase inhibitors enhance reovirus infection of TNBC cells. MDA-MB-231 cells were treated for 1 h with the vehicle (DMSO), 8 μM E64-d, or increasing concentrations doxorubicin, epirubicin, or topotecan and infected with r2Reovirus at an MOI of 100 PFU/cell for 20 h. Cells were assessed for infectivity by indirect immunofluorescence using reovirus-specific antisera. Data are shown as percent infectivity for quadruplicate independent experiments. **, P ≤ 0.01; ***, P < 0.001; ****, P < 0.0001 (in comparison to DMSO, as determined by one-way ANOVA with Dunnett’s multiple-comparison test).
