aPairwise correlations were performed between the variables listed in the first and second columns, separately for the affected and unaffected hemispheres (patients only). The resulting Pearson's r coefficients are reported in columns 3 and 4, transformed in z scores, and compared using a z test; z scores and uncorrected p values for these comparisons are reported in columns 5 and 6. The FDR-corrected critical p value (using a Benjamini–Hochberg procedure) is reported in column 7.
