Two herd representatives suffering from alopecia. a-e: Calf 1; f-j: Calf 2. Hair loss present on the forehead, around the eyes, the cheeks, along the back and both sides of the neck as well as both elbows. The base of both ears is affected. Excessive scaling with thick, easily removable crusts, most prominent on both sides of the neck
