Comparison of enzymes involved in PGE₂metabolism in MCF10A-ras cells and non-oncogenic MCF10A cells. A. PGE₂ is synthesized by COX-2 and oxidized by 15-PGDH to form 15-keto PGE₂. B. The protein levels of COX-2 and 15-PGDH were compared in MCF10A and MCF10A-ras cells by Western blot analysis. Actin was served as an equal loading control. The experiments were conducted at least 3 times and quantificated the band intensity of each protein compared to expression of actin. *p < 0.05, ***p < 0.001 (Two-sided t-test). C.
