Differences in energy intake at baseline in patients with gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms after intervention with dimethyl fumarate (DMF). DMF patients with an increase of Gastrointestinal Symptoms Rating Scale (GSRS) score from baseline to two weeks had (a) a higher intake of ethanol, (b) lower intake of carbohydrates and (c) higher intake of proteins at baseline, compared to those without increase of GSRS score.
