siRNA-mediated A2B silencing inhibits HepG2 cell proliferation. (A) HepG2 cells were transfected with either scr-siRNA or A2B-siRNA. Transfection efficiency of A2B-siRNA was measured using western blot analysis. Actin was used as a loading control. (B) Cell proliferation was determined by measuring BrdU incorporation for up to 96 h (n=4). (C) Relative cell growth rates were examined by the MTT assay. (D) Cell viability of cells at each time-point was measured by MTT assay. Data are presented as the mean ± standard deviation (n=4).
