Statistical analysis of nerve diameters from cross-sections of the four groups at 8 and 12 weeks post-surgery.

At 8 and 12 weeks post-surgery, the diameters of nerves were larger in EMC and MDC groups compared with the PUR group. The EMC group had a larger nerve diameter compared with the MDC group. ***P < 0.001, vs. PUR group; ###P < 0.001, vs. EMC group.
