Participants	18 to 65 years old; adult male and female active duty military personnel who had deployed since 9/11; seeking treatment for PTSD; PTSD according to DSM‐5; DSM‐5 Criterion A event is combat‐related or an operational experience that occurred during deployment
Interventions	Web‐PE vs PCT
Outcomes	Primary outcomes: PTSD severity (CAPS) PTSD diagnosis Severity scores on measures of depression, general anxiety, anger, and PTSD‐related cognitions Associated biomarkers (e.g. cortisol response to awakening, cortisol response to script‐driven imagery, salivary and serum neurosteroids)
