High level of uric acid promoted the proliferation of VSMC. Different doses of uric acid (0, 6, 9, 12 mg/dl) were added to VSMC. The cell viability of VSMCs was determined by CCK-8 at 12 h and 24 h (A). Colony formation assay was performed to detect cell proliferation (B) and for quantification of colony formation numbers (C).
