Inhibition of NLRP3 suppressed the expression of the NLRP3-inflammasome in VSMCs. VSMCs were pretreated with uric acid (0, 6, 9, 12 mg/dl) and were treated with NLRP3 inhibitor-MCC950. The expressions of NLRP3, ASC, and caspase-1 were analyzed by RT-PCR (A) and Western blot (B).
