Refractory epilepsy related to focal cortical dysplasia of the right frontal operculum. From left to right: postsurgical MRI, MEG signal of the average IED for each study, topography of MEG signal, dMSI source imaging, and ECD source localization. MEG signals were highly reproducible. The generator recovered by dMSI is concordant with the epileptic focus and provides an estimate of its extent. ECD source localization is concordant with the focus and very consistent as well. The dipole was however quite deep, close to the insula. It is almost impossible to appreciate it through the cortical surface and it has been displayed over brain sections in right last columns.
