Each purified recombinant protein was separately injected subcutaneously into New Zealand rabbits, serum was harvested after the last injection, and the titer of the serum was determined via indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (iELISA) using M. bovis extracts as the coating antigens as well as by agar gel diffusion precipitation (AGP) and indirect hemagglutination assay (IHA).
