Scanning conditions and scanning environment. A: Conditions were presented in a uniform sequence. To ensure subjects' constant concentration during scanning, task duration was restricted to 60 s, while actual “creative writing” was performed for 140 s. Each condition was followed by a fixation cross lasting 20 s. B: Participant positioning during writing in the scanner.
