At the beginning of the trial, a straight gaze, an upward pointing fist, or a T‐like shape was presented behind a black fixation mark (500 ms). Turning the black fixation point into red was the imperative instruction signal for leftward saccades or hand pointing movements. Only incongruent conditions are represented for the sake of simplicity.
