Surface‐based searchlight analysis of location information across objects in ventral visual cortex. We explored the encoding of location information in ventral visual cortex in a spatially unbiased fashion. Location information was present widely in the ventral visual pathway (P < 0.01, FDR‐corrected separately for each hemisphere). Note that location information in parietal and frontal cortex could not be assessed, because it was not covered in the MRI acquisition.
