Possible evolutionary linkages between diverse RBP systems, driven by the acquisition and loss of domains. The model RBP systems of phage T7, K1F, G7C, K1-5, and K1-E have been reported before. The RBP systems of KP32viruses groups A, B, C, D (Figure 2 and Table 1), KP34viruses groups A, B, C (Figure 3 and Table 2), phages belonging to the Menlow group (Figure 5 and Table 4) and phage belonging to the ΦK64-1 group (Figure 6 and Table 5) have been studied in this work.
