Dose-dependent kill kinetic profiles of M. tuberculosis mc26230 (A) and mc26230_R4 (B) exposed to PIPD1. The parental strain mc26230 and the spontaneous resistant strain mc26230_R4 (I292T substitution in MmpL3) were grown in Middlebrook 7H9 broth supplemented with OADC and pantothenic acid were left untreated or exposed to 0.25, 1, 4, or 8 μg/ml of PIPD1. CFU were counted after plating bacterial suspensions taken at different time points onto 7H10 plates and incubation at 37 °C for 3 weeks. The results are expressed as mean log10 values ± S.D. from two independent experiments.
