Mean densitometric values of Cu, Zn SOD-immunoreactivity in the epidermal horny and basal layers. These data show that UV exposed vs. UV non-exposed skin, male vs. female skin, young vs. old people's skin, and healthy vs. sick skin express SOD enzyme in the horny layer generally at higher level compared with basal layer. (e, epithelioma).
