Standard condition: 5 mol% catalyst, 1a (1.1 mmol), 2a (1.0 mmol), and 3a (1.0mmol) in toluene (1 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at 110°C for 24h.
Yield and conversion was determined by 1H NMR using 1, 3, 5-trimethox-ybenzene as internal standard.
