Isolates from Clade A mainly had fimH41 and were assigned to Fastbaps cluster 2. Clade B tended to have fimH22 as well as other fimH alleles, and were assigned to five Fastbaps groups (1/3/5/7/8). Clade C mainly had fimH30 or fimH-like alleles, and were assigned to Fastbaps cluster 6 for C1 (aka C1_6), or clusters 4 (C2_4) or 9 (C2_9) for C2.
