Inclusion of biomolecules containing droplets in a controlled spatial arrangement. (a) Zoomed view of inclusions of GFP in PDMS as droplets in liquid form. Deposited as 6 droplets of 10 µl volume, aqueous solutions containing GFP can be stored in PDMS as well-defined spherical droplets. (b) Droplets can be freely arranged in patterns and arrays without leading to fusion while preserving their fluorescent properties (FL).
