Hazard ratios of prioritized metabolites for progression to the combined renal endpoint. Hazard ratios (HRs) to the combined endpoint for metabolites that had p_BH < 0.05 in any of the cross-sectional analyses. The combined renal endpoint includes ≥30% decrease in eGFR, ESRD and all-cause mortality with time to first event. HRs are presented per 1 SD increase of the log2 metabolite and are shown for crude model (left) and for model adjusted for age, sex, HbA_1c, systolic blood pressure, smoking, body mass index, statin treatment, p-triglycerides, total p-cholesterol, eGFR and logUAER (right).
