(A) Compounds 1, 2, and 3 inhibited high glucose (HG)-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) production. The HUVECs were pretreated with 1, 2, and 3 (80 µM) for 12 h or with NAC (N-acetyl-L-cysteine, 500 µM) for 1 h before 35 mM HG incubation for another 24 h.
