Prediction of MEP amplitudes based on beta event metrics. K-fold (k = 10) cross-validation was performed to evaluate the ability of different beta event metrics (including event number (A), amplitude (B), timing (C), as well as mean beta power (D,E)) to predict MEP amplitudes. Event duration is not shown due to lack of significant association between event duration and MEP amplitudes (see Table 1). Actual MEP amplitudes (y-axis) are plotted against predicted MEP amplitudes (x-axis). All plotted data were obtained using the 75th percentile threshold. For all metrics, cross-validated rho values and normalized RMSE values indicated moderate predictive performance (rho values = 0.61–0.62, normalized RMSE = 0.13).
