(a) and (c) show the expression patterns of differentially expressed genes of transcription factors and the spliceosome, respectively. The heatmap shows the Z-score of gene expression after the log2(FPKM) transformation; (b) and (d) show the alternatively spliced transcripts and comparison of their expression levels in FPKM along with genomic position of gene C4H and DFR, respectively. Suffix _1 to _8 in the right side of the heatmap represent the different isoforms of the homologous gene. Suffix _b, _1 and _2 represent the bud, the 1st leaf immediately next to the bud and the 2nd leaf immediately next to the 1st leaf.
