Treatment of PTECs in the PT-MPS with 500 nM 1α,25(OH)2D3 (center) resulted in increases in fluorescent signal for CYP24A1 protein compared to the vehicle control (left). This inductive effect appeared to be partially reversed with RAP coadministration (right). For reference, the approximate diameter of PT-MPS tubules shown above is 120 μm.
