CSNK2A1 modulates the PI3K-Akt-mTOR signaling pathway. (A) The Western blot results show that the levels of p-Akt S473/T308 and p-mTOR were increased in CSNK2A1-overexpressing cells and decreased in CSNK2A1-knockdown cells. (B) The levels of p-Akt S473/T308 and p-mTOR were decreased after treatment with a PI3K inhibitor (ly294002) in the CSNK2A1-overexpressing GC cell line. (C) The migratory and invasive abilities were markedly reduced after PI3K inhibitor ly294002 treatment in the CSNK2A1-overexpressing GC cell line. (D) A CCK-8 assay was used to detect the viability of cells treated with empty vector, CSNK2A1 and CSNK2A1+ ly294002. (*P<0.05; ** P<0.01; ***P<0.001).
