Relaxin altered expression of mRNA in aged atria that relate to fibrotic and Wnt related genes. Data were obtained by quantitative RT-PCR as described under Methods. Data are reported as percent change of mRNA levels obtained from RLX-treated aged atria relative to vehicle-treated aged controls ± standard deviation (n = number of rats/hearts per group).
