Low-affinity EGFR ligands induce sustained EGFR phosphorylation in HPTCs. Equimolar amounts (17 pM) of each ligand were used to stimulate HPTCs for the time points indicated. EGFR phosphorylation was examined by (A) Western blot and (B) densitometric analysis was performed after normalization to nonstimulated cells. Tubulin was used for normalization (loading control).
