MST was administered at maximum stimulator output (100% intensity), although there is a roll-off effect at frequencies higher than 60 Hz. The maximum numbers of pulses administered in a single stimulation was 1000 pulses based on device operating specifications. For 25 Hz, the maximum was 500 pulses or 20 s, as this is the maximum duration at which the device could provide continuous stimulation
