In the thoraco group, bleeding events were frequently observed (massive bleeding, vascular injury, postoperative bleeding, hemorrhagic shock), whereas in the laparo group, various categories of events were observed, such as multiple organ failure, postoperative pneumonia/respiratory failure, and anastomotic failure.
