miR-1294 and its core motifs induce expression of IL-8, IL-1β, and TNFα mRNA. HEK-Blue™hTLR8 cells (Invivogen, San Diego, CA), were incubated with miR-1294 mimic and its two core motifs (Motif A-AUUGUUG and Motif B- AUUGUUA) for 24 h. ssRNA40, a TLR8 agonist, was used as a control.
