The effect of the combination of TH-302 and radiotherapy on acute radiation toxicity in the jejunum of immunocompetent mice. Mice were treated with control (NaCl) or TH-302 (50 mg/kg) for 5 consecutive days followed by radiotherapy (sham or 10 Gy). 3.5 days after radiotherapy, mice were sacrificed and crypt survival (A) and mucosal surface area (B) and plasma citrulline concentration (indicative of gut damage, C) were assessed. Data (n ≥ 5, except MSA TH-302 group n = 4) show mean ± SEM.
