Validation for the clean interface case. The evolution of (a) the plug length, (b) maximum difference in wall pressure (Pmax−Pmin), (c) maximum difference in wall shear stresses (τmax − τmin), and (d) the minimum wall shear stress (τmin) for the precursor film thicknesses of h2 = 0.05 and h2 = 0.07.
