Cumulative release of proteins and growth factors was observed for up to 14 days in composite scaffolds. PRP-derived proteins (A) and growth factors, particularly VEGF (B), bFGF (C), PDGF-BB (D), and TGF-β1 (E), were released from PRP gel and the composite scaffold for 14 days.
