Worsening of tremor may occur in some patients treated with cholinesterase inhibitors. Medical monitoring for cholinergic effects could include blood pressure or electrocardiograph monitoring but acetylcholinesterase inhibitors are considered to pose an acceptable risk even without specialized monitoring.2
