Secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine induces apoptosis in BGC-823. For flow cytometric analysis, cells were stained with annexin V fluorescein isothiocyanate and propidium iodide. Values in histogram show increasing secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine (SPARC) expression increased apoptosis in BGC-823 compared with negative control.
