Figure 2

Concentrations of acute phase proteins and correlations for each protein. Significantly increased concentrations of C-reactive protein (CRP) (A) and serum amyloid A (SAA) (B) and moderately increased haptoglobin (C) were observed in dogs with acute pancreatitis (AP) (**P < 0.01). In addition, the concentrations of CRP were positively correlated with those of SAA (D). However, a significant negative correlation with CRP (E) and a weak negative correlation with SAA (F) were observed for the concentrations of haptoglobin in dogs with AP.
