5azadC treatment downregulates E6 expression. E6, p53, p21 and β-actin protein expression was analyzed by western blotting in the (A) 0.25 µm and (B) 0.5 µm treatment in SiHa cells. (C) E6 mRNA relative expression was quantified by RT-qPCR in SiHa cells treated with 0.25 or 5 µM of 5azadC. E6, p53, p21 and β-actin protein expression was analyzed by western blotting in the (D) 0.25 µm and (E) 0.5 µm treatment in Ca Ski cells. (F) E6 mRNA relative expression was quantified by RT-qPCR in Ca Ski cells treated with 0.25 or 5 µM of 5azadC. The data are presented as mean values from at least three independent experiments.
