Toxicity Assay. A. A toxicity assay wherein the RNP targets the transformed plasmid. If the RNP is active, then cleavage of the plasmid will occur, destroying the plasmid conferring resistance to the selection. B. A toxicity assay wherein the RNP targets the chromosome.
