The effects of Ca2+ chelator and channel inhibitors on strigolactone-induced stomatal closure. Leaf epidermal peels of WT plants with open stomata were exposed to either the MES-KCl buffer with (+) or without (–) 1 μM GR24, 2 mM EGTA, 1 mM LaCl3, or 1 μM AlCl3.
