(B) After cells invaded, they were stained, stain was then extracted and absorbance measured at 560 nm. Data are fold change compared to control ± SEM. (C/D) Caco-2 cells were untreated or treated with HuArgI(Co)-PEG5000 with or without L-citrulline for 72 h. Cells were then lysed and blotted for MMP-2 (C) and MMP-9 (D). (E/F) Quantitation of (C) and (D) using the imageJ software expressed as fold change from control.
