The data indicate that CUMS significantly reduces DA concentrations in the hippocampus compared with that in control animals (P < .01), while it has no significant influence on the 5‐HT and NE concentrations (P > .05). Administration of SA (50 mg/kg daily) was able to counteract the effects of CUMS on DA (P < .05).
