NMR methods used to perform M → S and S → M conversion: the SLIC and adSLIC methods are exploited. Here (a,b) show the pulses for the SLIC method for M → S and S → M conversion, respectively. Similarly, (c,d) show the conversion scheme for the adiabatic adSLIC method. For nearly equivalent spins it does not matter whether the amplitude of the adiabatic RF field increases or decreases. All these spin order conversion blocks can be applied on both ¹H and ¹⁵N channels, as shown in Fig. 2.
