A) Fitting the factorial cumulants of the cPCH distribution gives strong agreement between the empirical factorial cumulants estimated from simulated data and those calculated with the best-fit parameters (using Eq 33 and the parameters in Table 1). For the lower moments, the empirical and estimated factorial cumulants overlap. B) Fitting the factorial cumulants of the spatial cPCH distribution gives similar strong agreement (crosses denote the empirical factorial cumulants and the dashed lines show the fits). We consider a mixture of a slowly (D = 0.1 μm2/s) and a quickly (D = 200 μm2/s) diffusing species.
