For each test structure we give MRP°, the average phase error/weighted average phase error in degrees at the end of MOLREP; SYN°, the average phase error at the end of the SYNERGY step; and MA, the ratio ‘number of Cα atoms within 0.6 Å distance from the published positions/number of Cα atoms in the asymmetric unit’. Dashes indicate that useful roto-translations were not found by the MR program.
