Effect of all developed formulations on colon cancer cell lines (WIDR, Lovo) proliferation. Colon cancer cells were seeded in serum-containing media in 96-well plates at the density of 2 × 10³ cells/well. After 24 h incubation at 37°C, cells were treated with increasing concentrations of free doxo, Lipo, Lipo-doxo, LipoUT, and LipoUT-doxo (20-0, 16 μM) for 72 h.
