Values were measured in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) (except ϕ_s = 0.75 of RB in PBS, as reported by Gottfried et al. [40]) and cell culture media supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (DMEM+FBS). Standard deviations of all calculated values were less than 10%.
