Gal-1 treatment significantly improves liver function and survival in allograft rat models (n=10). Liver transplant models were established to qualify the effect of Gal-1 in the treatment. Allograft or syngraft control liver transplant were performed as indicated with or without Gal-1 treatment. (A) Kaplan-Meier survival curves for rats receiving transplant surgery.
